wtf, sorta reminds me of the banking system. Whose interest does the overdraft protection serve to protect? I asked a banker this, and he couldn't seem to provide a liquid answer to easily digest. If i have no funds available in my bank, i don't expect credit. I expect to use alternate means to carry out monetary transactions, and should i use a card with no balance to try paying for goods/services, it ought to be declined - i am fine with this arrangement. However, the institution prefers to balance out transactions by settling/processing transactions from the highest amount to lowest, regardless of time of transaction. Now, say you have $100 in your account, should you purchase lesser charged goods up to $110, say 15 different items. Ranging from $2,$3, $3, $4 $4, $16$18, $20, $ 40 respectively. Regardless of date of purchase, the 40 automatically takes precedent and the $20 follows. Now, while balancing out budgets in your head, you just purchased several lesser goods, you still have funds accounted for in your account to cover these goods you just purchased. However, should you purchase additional goods, rather than declining the transaction, many banks will process that last charge(highest) with the funds reserved for these pending petty transactions. Do you know how frustrating it is to pay almost $33 for miniscule monetary transactions? I mean, if it were just one transaction that sent me overboard, shouldn't i be held liable for that said transaction and the applicable overdraft charge???? How come the high amt transaction ends up being in the clear, and the subsequents end up being ODraft... O'draft where art thou. How is this protecting my financial interest? who does this seem to serve? I called in and was astounded with the news that "hey buddy, you don't have overdraft protection on your account." Oops, if i'm not mistaken, what do you call this?? LIFO?

Closing notes

Today was swell, found out how easy it is to turn myspace into, well... my playground. It is quite surprising how several women fall prey to words. How can a stranger type up a mail, send it to you, and ends up getting your number the same day? Not one, not two, not three, but a fair number of subjects fall victim to words. This is pathetic, i admit. It is the internet, it is almost like telemarketing - i could pose as anyone on the phone. Is life that stressful?? hectic? time consuming that the handsome male you see daily while walking to work isn't worth your time to stop by and speak with???? I'm sure over the internet, our insecurities tend to evade our very being...

Social Engineering

I can't help but wonder at times...

This life long process of conditioning the mind to certain methodologies, it would seem, we embrace for existance.

So, i wake up in the morning, follow my strict workout regimen, grab a decent meal and stare at the TV screen watching a televised coaching. A Briefing that alludes the current, foucses on the relevance which i presume is what weighed the most as relevant information.

Would it be a leap, or a false projection to accuse the aforementioned with a contrived seamlessly executed propaganda to fill the empty ignorant minds of the world.

How is it so, that not a day goes by that i do not hear the words "bla bla bla, because cnn said so."

How is it so, for a populace -which i presume somewhat educated- exude much credence to certain news agencies. Did i miss something? Was i the only one that read the pamphlet stating "question whichever information dispersed your way?"

Well, another day at work. I feel like slapping certain individuals back to reality. It would seem reality as we know it [i]is[/i] way too complex, these complexities would rather be substituted with an allure for vague fantasies. These individuals i speak of are the professors in accredited universities, the leaders in reputable appointments, the bus drivers, the store owners. These individuals are installed within a stone throw from every direction my pupils fix at.

Births such question as ignorance. Could ignorance be possibly encouraged? I mean how else would you explain the little redundant obscure acts existing within every social layer of this mind boggling society.

I gather much of nothing from my daily encounter with reality. It seems what happened yesterday, tends to follow suit today, tommorrow is merely a reminder of today. So, what gives? why would people follow a straight line in a world filled with endless possibilities and directions driven towards finding one's true identity? Why is the society seemingly encouraging a uniformed or unilateral cognitive insights? When did it become wrong to think outside the box?

Although i find it challenging, the idea that we scream freedom, yet walk around in a blind fold guided -with nostrils-by the scent of an empty, delicious, dish.

Modern day slavery, building towards the betterment of who? what exactly? Am i living my dream? Am i truly in control? Did i set sail, or merely cirumventing my beginning? What do i consider success? Where do i go from here? What is social engineering? Look at our societies today. Am i amongst the many drones i pass daily? Will i one day be summoned to reality with a rude awakening? We ought to consider the fact that a preconditioned idea of what success truly is has been instilled since inception, thus its unclear to find true success.

Social engineering builds/creates characters, following the heart/passion finds individuality.
